As an estate agent for the past eight years, I? laughed my head off at this. It is so close to the truth. Estate agents arent parasites or dirty trick players – we are decent, hardworking people who, on a daily basis, deal with buyers who are late, aggressive, dishonest, indecisive, sly and we can do an immense amount of work and then the buyer changes their mind at the last minute and we earn nothing. People out there who have salaries, try going commission only, you will see life differently

Sorry I don’t find this funny. Estate agents play plenty of dishonest and dirty tricks and most people I know have lost confidence in them. Decent properties do not make it to the shop window – they are sold to “preferred customers”. What you see in the window are left overs. I went into the estate agents office, asked a simple question and they wanted to put me on a mailing list. Many people are selling their homes online and have given up on estate agents because of their lack of honesty.?

That’s a class act and extremely funny. The format could be translated to many fields. In my own experience the motor trade and the London taxi trade would be prime candidates so bring it on please. No reason why estate agents should have? all the fun.

I don’t understand why people? wouldn’t realise this is a spoof. I think it’s a good thing that they can poke a lil bit of fun at themselves. Estate agents don’t have the best reputation, but some really are good and actually care about what their clients need/want. Check out new site MeetMyAgent.co.uk, essentially a TripAdvisor for estate agents except the agents themselves choose to list – D&G are listed on there already :)

Oh come on! I think it’s fairly obvious what it is… Just another cynical publicity stunt from an all too media-savvy agency who recognises that all publicity is good publicity. Blatantly designed to go viral the scenes are so obviously scripted and over-acted. The agent’s branded company cars are on show twice along with their boards and corporate colour schemes. It’s just a shame they had to further perpetuate the myth? that all estate agents are w***ers. I guess they’ve recognised it’s done

Unfortunately, thanks to the media you all think all EstateAgents are like this. We’re not. Of course it wouldn’t make good TV to show a documentary on a real one, as it would be boring. So they don’t. Actually, far from the agents being liars, in my 18 years of experience its the buyers and sellers themselves. Ooh I could tell you a few stories. I? know plenty of people in totally different trades who are far more dodgy…builders, coppers, accountants, and surprise surprise…bankers !

I said SELL DIRECT, not TESCO DIRECT, lol… and let’s face it, estate agents are hardly working, more exploiting, thus yes, I would happily watch these scamsters be put? out of work and a lifetime of misery and destitution.
